Metal Replacement

Components that were previously made of metals have been widely replaced since the introduction of high-impact, engineering grade thermoplastics.

The use of thermoplastics in component manufacturing is increasing for a variety of reasons, including lighter weight, flexibility, colourability, corrosion resistance, and lower costs.

The physical properties of plastics are being stretched by the ongoing development of advanced resin engineering.

Furthermore, improvements in controlled processing procedures and technology are resulting in dramatically improved performance.
